These potable solder ring fittings are manufactured in accordance with BS864 Part 2 and are a lead-free joint. The solder complies with BS219 Grade 99C. These products use the principle of capillary action to ensure that, when correctly joined to copper tube, a sufficient layer of lead-free solder is present between tube and fittings to form a mechanically strong, leak proof joint without the need for external solder application.
