CTS132J Cable Tracing System

The CTS132J combines the functions of pair tracing and cable tracing in one cost-effective kit. It allows the user to trace cables buried behind walls or in the ground and also to identify individual pairs within the cable.,The CTS 132J comprises a High Power Tone Generator 600J, an Amplifier 109K, a Headset, a Capacitive Probe (which responds to Electrostatic Fields - ideal for tracing individual pairs of wires), an Inductive Search Coil (which responds to Magnetic Fields - ideal for cable route tracing or identification of specific cables) and associated connecting cables

Due to its revolutionary design, the CTS 132J enables the user to:
Trace underground cable routes
Identify a specific cable within a duct with identical looking cables
Identify cable pairs at any joint or Cross Connect along the route
Identify Split pairs
Identify pairs in which one wire is Open Circuit
Identify the location of cable faults where there is unwanted connection to earth
Identify and pinpoint short circuits within a cable (not necessarily to earth).
