RN1810/RN1810E 802.11b/g/n WiFi Module

The Microchip RN1810 is a low-power 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n WiFi Module that combines all the necessary components into a surface mount solution. The RN1810 integrates a TCP/IP networking stack, cryptographic accelerator, power management subsystem, real-time clock, 2.4 GHz transceiver and RF power amplifier.

The RN1810 can help shorten development time. The integrated design provides a certified solution to remove the need for RF design regulatory and compliance testing. Also the RN1810 is simple to program as only simple ASCII command language is required. The simplest configuration of the RN1810 requires only power, ground and UART Tx and Rx connections.

Two variants are available; the RN1810 with an integral PCB Trace Antenna and the RN1810E with a W.FL Connector for an External Antenna.

Features

Fully integrated Low-Power IEEE 802.11b/g/n WiFi module
UART Interface to Host Controller
