AirPrime EM Series Embedded Modules
The AirPrime EM embedded modules from Sierra Wireless come in the PCI Express M.2 package. Not only is the M.2 package smaller and thinner, it has been designed for the future, with easy integration into devices. The EM modules support 3G and 4G global networks within North America, Europe and Asia. This includes LTE Advanced.
EM modules are ideal for use in mobile computing, networking and industrial IoT applications.
GNSS tracking:
You can locate, monitor and deploy locations-based services with the modules that support GPS, GLONASS, Bediou and Galileo satellite systems.
Switch networks whenever you like:
EM74xx modules enable you to store up to 3 different firmware types at once. Other EM modules offer the same functionality via a host download. This functionality means you can simplify logistics and supply chain management.
FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air):
Update your firmware, manage applications and receive product data via a cloud-based FOTA. This is powered by the AirVantage service.
