FLIR Flexible Clampmeters CM55 & CM57
Ergonomically designed the FLIR CM55 and CM57 clamp meters are specifically designed to access difficult or awkward spaces. The unique design enables measurements to be taken where traditional hard jaw clamp meters would find it impossible to access. Featuring Bluetooth communication technology, the FLIR CM55, and CM57 flexible clamp meters enable remote viewing and data transfer to iOS® and Android™ via the FLIR Tools Mobile App.
Using the FLIR flexible clamp meters couldnt be easier, simply turn the clamp lock counter-clockwise to release the flexible jaw clamp. The narrow coil can then be snaked around obstacles with ease even in deep, dark or cramped cabinets. Bright, dual-LED work lights provide built-in illumination to help you see in dark spaces and overcome shadowing.
Packed with a range of smart, easy to use functions the True RMS CM55 and CM57 clamp meters really are THE essential test instrument for any electrical engineers toolbox.
Features and Benefits
- Efficient and convenient AC current measurement
- Provides accurate readings
- Easy inspection and navigation
- True RMS, AC Current range up to 3000A for multiple conductor measurements
- Inrush current function for equipment start-up spikes
- Large LCD Backlit display
- Robust and reliable, drop tested to 3 meters
- Portable and lightweight
- Low battery indicator, the battery symbol appears empty and flashes
- Auto power off
Applications
Flexible clamp meters are test tools widely used by electricians and technicians to measure the current flowing through conductors. The instruments enable engineers to safely conduct tests and gather information. They help determine why a system or piece of electrical equipment is not operating correctly. Some of the most common applications are
- Power and utility installation, maintenance and diagnostics
- Electrical contractors and engineers
- Building, facility plant, and maintenance personnel
