Product details
RS Pro Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries
RS Pro Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries. Ideal for uninterruptible power supply and emergency backup. Theses gel constructed batteries can be stored for more than six months and are valve regulated, maintenance free.
What are AGM Batteries?
AGM batteries differ from flooded lead acid batteries in that the electrolyte is held in the glass mats, as opposed to freely flooding the plates. Glass fibres are woven into a mat to increase surface area enough to hold sufficient electrolyte on the cells for their lifetime.
Why choose this product?
RS Pro batteries in this range are entirely maintenance free and can be mounted in any orientation without the risk of leakage. They are highly efficient, suitable for air transport and have excellent discharge recovery properties.
Features and Benefits
Sealed with special compound epoxy and using pressure controlled vent valves
Starved electrolyte design - acid solution is absorbed in separators
Non-spill - can be operated in any position
Maintenance free, no water adding required
Deep discharge protection
Plate grids from lead-calcium alloy, free of antimony
No corrosion
Installs vertically or horizontally
Low gassing (unless overcharged)
Good cycling and stationary performance
Good high rate discharges
Long shelf life
Rugged and vibration-resistant
Application Information
RS Pro maintenance free Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries are suitable for use in various applications, including:
Emergency lighting
Auto control systems
Railway and aircraft signalling
Alarms and security
Electronic equipment
