Fluke 287 Digital Multimeter
This high performance multimeter is designed to meet the demanding applications of professional engineers. The Fluke 287 True-RMS Electronics Logging Multimeter with Trend Capture quickly documents design performance and graphically displays the results. Its unique logging and graphing capabilities mean you no longer need to download logged readings to a PC to detect a trend. The true RMS multimeter is good for measuring nonlinear loads accurately and has an impressive group of ranges. Both AC and DC voltage to up to 1000 V, amperage to 20A and resistance, capacitance and temperature all have wide ranges.
The Fluke 287 packs more accuracy and convenience into a hand held multimeter than ever before. Various ranges can be recorded from minutes to hours and even including days. The Fluke 287 comes with a real-time clock, min/max add on and graphing through TrendCapture. Data can be exported to your phone through the infrared optical.
The Fluke 287 is fairly complex but it has a user-friendly interface, help screens and is multi-lingual. Graphs can be zoomed in for higher resolutions, and after exporting through Fluke Connect you can share your data via ShareLive video. Data can also be saved and analysed into documents via FlukeView. However you need to buy the adapter to transfer the data and also the software.

What is the difference between the Fluke 287 and 289 Digital Multimeter?
Both the 287 and 289 share the same features such as voltage to 1000 V, resistance to 500 MΩ and temperature to 1350°C. The 289 has the addition of a low input impedance (LoZ) function to prevent false readings due to 'ghost voltage'. A low ohms mode and a low pass filter which allows for accurate measurements of motor drives. The Fluke 287 is optimised for R & D, maintenance, manufacture and design of electronic circuits or systems. The Fluke 289 is optimised for industrial and field service professionals involved in the installation and maintenance or support of facilities or critical systems.
Advantages of using the Fluke 287
True RMS meter with full ranges
Large display with readouts
Advanced min/max and peak max mode
