The outer casing and inner contact carrier are constructed from a toughened engineering material designed to provide high thermal stability and mechanical strength. An easy opening and closing hinged lid provide extra protection to the sockets inner contact carrier tubes when not in use. A tight rubber seal on the inner lid and bayonet locking ring system ensures a watertight seal. A domed cable gland at the rear of the waterproof industrial connector provides external cable clamping and additional support. Stylishly designed, the Scame range of industrial power BS4343 sockets perform extremely well in the most challenging environments. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.

Environmental Protection – IP Rating

Scame IP67 waterproof industrial cable mount connectors are designed in accordance with BS EN 60529. The IP rating is composed of two numbers. The first number refers to protection from solid matter, the second number for protection against liquids. The higher the number the better the protection.
