Product details
DT50 & DS50 Mid Range Distance Sensors
SICK Dx50 series of mid-range photoelectric distance sensors utilise HDDM (high definition distance measurement) technology which provides a high degree of reliability and reliable measurement detection including in strong light conditions and on shiny targets.
The photoelectric sensors have an intuitive set up via an LCD display on top of the device or remote teach which can reduce installation time and costs. A visible red laser provides instant feedback during the installation of the sensors.
Thanks to the innovative HDDM technology the Dx50 provides excellent reliability, immunity to ambient light and precision when being in use. Offering an extremely good price/performance ratio the Dx50 is the right solution in many cases.
Features and Benefits
·Precise and reliable detection measurement regardless of object colour extends run time and process quality
·Flexible settings for speed, range and repeatability
·High measurement or switching frequencies enable a fast material flow
·Based on a common platform, offering multiple performance levels, making it easy to accommodate future changes
·Intuitive setup via display or remote teach reduces installation time and costs
·Temperature range from –30 °C to +65 °C allows for outdoor use without additional cooling or heating
·Up to 40 klx ambient light immunity – allows for use in optically challenging environments
Application Examples
·The positioning or anti-collision monitoring of shuttles, industrial trucks, gantry cranes and traversing carriages.
·Reliable measurement and detection of extremely dark or glossy materials, e.g., in the automotive industry.
·Loading, empty bay or fill level monitoring in logistics applications.
·Measurement and detection of small objects at long distances, for example in manufacturing industries
