Product details
Ohmite EBW Series Current Sense Resistors
The EBW series of current sense resistors from Ohmite are constructed using electron beam welding technology. Electron beam welding technology allows different alloys to be joined with great accuracy and tolerance. EBW series current sense resistors offer low inductance, excellent long-term stability and feature heavy copper connectors. EBW current sense resistors can be mounted by welding on copper of reflow soldering. These surface mount resistors are able to withstand soldering temperatures of +350°C for 30 seconds, or +250°C for 10 minutes.
Features
EBWA-M and EBWB-M models are constructed from Manganin
EBWA-N and EBWB-N models are constructed from NiCr Alloy
EBWA models can handle power of 5 W up to 100 A at 0.5 Ω
EBWB models can handle constant power of 7 W at 0.2 mΩ and a continuous load of 180A at 0.2 mΩ
Product Application Information
Suitable applications include frequency converters, high current automotive applications and current sensors for hybrid power sources.
Standards
BN ES ISO 9001: 2008
ISO/TS 16949: 2009
