M12 male cable connector, series 713
M12 connectors are available in straight or angled versions, with an anchored cable gland to prevent strain on the cable. These light weight connectors are also available in male or female versions with screw and/or clamp termination, this allows for strong and robust connection.
Features and Benefits:
The contact surfaces are 8-poles Brass, gold plated, which inhibits oxidation and tarnishing extending the life expectancy. Termination is via a screw clamp ensuring a strong and stable connection, whilst the connector locking system is bolted. Cable out let is for cables ranging from 6.0mm to 8.0mm and is IP67 when mated.
For the housing material of this connector is PA, Polyamide. Polyamide is used in some cable connectors due to its high strength and resilience, it is also abrasion resistant resulting in durability. This makes it the ideal material for connector casing.
