Product details

CY8CKIT-145-40XX PSoC 4000S CapSense Kit

The CY8CKIT-145-40XX from Cypress Semiconductor is a PSoC 4000S Protoyping Kit for capacitive touch applications. It is a development board which enables you to explore the functionality of the PSoC 4000S device. The CY8CKIT-145-40XX comes with a USB connector so you can plug the KitProg end straight into your PC.
The kit consists of 3 connected boards. There are two capacitive boards, one with 3 buttons and one with a five-segment slider. They are both capable of self-capacitive and mutual-capacitive sensing.

Can I use the KitProg and target board separately?
Yes, this development kit features a snap-off structure. This means that you can simply snap the target board away from the KitProg programmer/debugger to use them separately. The two capacitive touch boards can also be separated from the target board, if you wish.

What is the PSoC 4000S?
PSoC (Programmable System-on-Chip) 4000S is a device containing a 32-bit MCU alongside communication and timing peripherals, CapSense, programmable continuous-time and switched-capacitor analogue blocks, and programmable connectivity. The PSoC 4000S features and Arm Cortex-M0+ processor.

What’s on board?
SoC: PSoC 4000S ARM Cortex-M0+
Programmer/Debugger: Cypress KitProg2
Bluetooth: Cypress EZ-BLE® PRoC™ Module
CapSense: 3 x buttons, 5-segment slider
Capacitors: CMOD, CTANK, CintA and CintB for CapSense
User input: 1 x pushbutton
