This type of thermostat is used as a safety switch or standard temperature control in the +30 °C → +160 °C range. Its precision is ±3 °C → ±7 °C (according to range).
The bi-metal sensor's pressure is transmitted to a spring-loaded contact arm, giving great reliability and a long lifetime.
