Product details

A and TA (alkalinity) test kit

Measuring alkalinity is important in determining the corrosive characteristics of water, mainly due to the presence of hydroxide, carbonate and bicarbonate ions, and anions that cause hydrolysis, such as phosphates, silicates, borates etc.
Alkalinity measurement is essential when controlling drinking water treatment, waste water and heating and cooling systems.
The concentration of the measured parameter is obtained by titration. The addition of a reagent causes the sample to change colour.
A = alkalinity and TA = total alkalinity.
This test kit features a solid case containing all the clearly-labelled reagents and a simple, illustrated user manual describing each step of the measurement process.

Minimum Measurement: 0 mg/L
Maximum Measurement: 300 mg/L
Number of tests 110

Supplied with

Bromophenol Blue Indicator, Calibrated Syringe with Tip, Calibrated Vessels, Phenolpthtalein Indicator (10 ml)
