How does a hand pallet truck work?

All of the trucks available use a manual lift operation, pallet trucks work by sliding the forks into the open area underneath the pallet, the user will then use the pump action with the handle to lift the load on the pallet. Once lifted off the ground, with careful handling, the pallet can then be moved around the desired space with minimal effort depending on the terrain. Storage spaces are often filled with these trucks due to the constant handling and movement of heavy goods.

Who uses a pallet truck?

Warehouse operatives are the main users of a pallet trolley. It's not unusual to find both forklifts and pump trucks in these areas. It may be a case that due to their mobility and minimal training for the user, they are the go to equipment for a lot of businesses who store and move their goods by pallets.

Use of the pump truck handle

These pallet trucks come with a large ergonomic handle, with a smaller level handle built in. The smaller handle works with 3 positions. The positions may vary depending on the model, however the operations are usually lift, lower and drive. In the drive position, the pallet truck can be maneuvered around large and narrow spaces. The lower function of the trolley will carefully drop the pallet of goods to the floor.
