RS PRO 18650 Lithium-Ion 2.6Ah Rechargeable Battery with PCB.
The RS PRO 18650 lithium battery has a capacity of 2.6Ah (2600 mAh) and was designed for high-intensity torches such as high demanding LED torches. The Li-ion battery is PCB protected, 3.7 V of power, and is an excellent choice for high draining devices, enabling them to run much longer than other power sources. Every 18650 rechargeable battery is designed with a PCB functionality, acting as the brains of the battery which regulates the output and intake of the electrical charge. The circuit board ensures the battery is always safe to use and charge, as it cuts off the battery if the voltage drops below 2.5 V or exceeds 4.25 V. Includes circuit protection increasing the overall size to 18.9 mm x 70 m.

FAQs
Are Lithium Batteries Harmful?
Lithium-ion batteries can emit many different hazardous gases when overheated or not handled carefully, this can cause strong irritation to the skin, eyes and nasal passages and harm the environment. The batteries contain a flammable electrolyte which can be pressurized if they become damaged or not handled with care.
How to store Lithium batteries?
Avoid keeping the batteries in drawers with metallic objects like paperclips, coins, other batteries or household items such as steel, wool, aluminium foil and keys. If these touch, this can be a potential fire hazard. Keep the batteries in their original packaging until ready to use.
How do you dispose of Lithium batteries?
Batteries should not be thrown away with regular rubbish, if they contact other pieces of metal or batteries it can be dangerous. Take these batteries to a collection site for household hazardous waste. For safe disposal cover the positive and negative terminals with duct or electrical tape before disposing the battery.
Safety Advice:
When working with Li-ion cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and can explode if mishandled.
Customers must be knowledgeable on Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging, and assembly before use.
Put the batteries in fire-proof container.
Never leave batteries unattended when charging.
Do not put batteries on wood surface or carpet when charging
Always use a battery charger which is rated for Li-ion Cells.
Never expose Lithium-ion batteries to extreme temperatures.
