Application Information
RS Pro Pressure Test Pump is the ideal tool for pressure testing in plumbing and servicing applications
How do pressure pumps work?
When the pump is connected to a system, check valves on entry and exit ports, in conjunction with the pressure dial show the current pressure. To increase pressure a piston, rotary vane or diaphragm principle is used to pump air by the user in to the system. The pump draws air in and pushes it in to the system. To decrease pressure a valve can be opened to decrease the pressure allowing air to leave the system.
