What are Trolley and Cart Brakes?

Brakes on trolleys are a device that is fitted to the wheels of a trolley that when applied will stop the trolley from moving. The brakes when fitted to a trolley are operated by a simple foot action that when applied locks the trolley wheels into position. Trolley brakes do add a secure element, especially when the trolley is used on an uneven or sloping surface or transporting heavy loads.
Trolleys are available with or without brakes. Ensure when selecting a trolley that it suits your requirements.
