PK series Waterproof Polycarbonate Housings

The PK series terminal housings are made of fibreglass-reinforced polycarbonate and provide optimum protection for installing electronic modules, relays etc.These enclosures are rugged and protect electric and electronic components from water and dust accumulation.
They are specifically suited for use with control components (actuators).Available with a light grey cover or a clear cover.
The enclosure consists of two parts (upper and lower), 4 cover screws and 4 insulating covers for mounting the bottom plate.

The IP rating is used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc) and moisture.

What does NEMA 4X state for?

The NEMA 4X Rating Standard is an equivalent of IP66 rating and it means that enclosures have been constructed for either indoor or outdoor use to provide a degree of protection to personnel against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment; to provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, hose-directed water, and corrosion; and that will be undamaged by thee external formation of ice on the enclosure
